Sometimes a relationship just “works” doesn’t it? Such is the case with Blue C and our beloved Penny Arcade Expo that comes to town once a year. Not only is it a great crowd, but they really know how to have a good time. Hats off to our Downtown crew who spent most of the day jacked-up on five hour energy drink just to survive the masses!

People feel the same way about Neil Diamond as they do roller coasters…they love them or hate them. Fear not adrenaline junkies, the Fuji-Q Highland Amusement Park near Mount Fuji in Yamanash just built the steepest vertical drop of any ride on the world. What a nightmare.

Nancy on kid-friendly restaurants

Seattle Times (and lover of Sushi) Nancy Leson wrote a great blog post about kid-friendly restaurants today and it felt great to get a shout out, “ ‘I have a 7- and a 3-year-old, so we rarely eat out, but when we do, we like Blue C Sushi for small portions, fast dining, fun atmosphere and a variety of menu items so even the picky-eater can choose,’ notes one mom.”

If any of you out there have ideas for new items that would be great for kids never hesitate to let us hear them. We’re always searching for fun new additions to the belt!

Japan Disaster Relief Update!

We can’t say enough about how grateful we are to everyone who came in to dine for disaster relief in Japan. Thanks to you we raised a donation amount of over $8,000!! It was so impressive to see and hear from so many people who really wanted to show support for everyone affected in Japan. Thank you!

Dear friends,

Blue C Sushi owes everything we do to Japanese culture, and we are greatly saddened by the destruction caused by the earthquake and ongoing challenges the people of Japan face.

We want to help. This Monday (March 14th) and Tuesday (March 15th) Blue C Sushi will be donating 10% of our sales to the Red Cross Japan earthquake and Pacific tsunami relief effort.
