03.26.09The East-side has some singersOur Tuesday Karaoke kicked off this week, and what a range of voices we had. We will definitely be having some singing competitions once the word gets out that we've got it going on up in the lounge. Think you have the pipes to compete? Come on out ever Tuesday. 03.25.09The things people do with their toys…We are obsessed with Kid Robot toys too, but we're more than impressed with the ways people use them. They aren't just collectibles, they can be stars in your next short film. In this case this director gets two gold stars; one for using Dunnys in a film and one for using the song "Pop Corn" by Hot Butter. That automatically qualifies this as an instant classic.

03.24.09Seattle Rush Hour never gets THIS bad!You may hate the traffic in Seattle, but at least you aren't getting shoved into a Tokyo metro train by security guards. Talk about a lack of personal space!

03.18.09March Madness - Big in Japan!Ok, that might be a bit of an overstatement, but we've got the TVs in the bar playing the games and our DAWGS are the #4 seed!! Trust us, if you feel the need to slide on over and have a cold Sapporo while you take in the games we won't tell a soul. After all...we'll be there too.

03.15.09It’s time…for KaraokeThat's right, on Tuesday, March 24th from 7pm until we close we will be starting our weekly Karaoke night in the Bellevue upstairs lounge. It is well known that there are two kinds of people; those who love Neil Diamond and those who don't. We don't care which side of the fence you're on, just come and let your vocals rip. We'll continue to post about this, but we wanted to get a jump on letting people know.

03.09.09How great are commercials in japan?If you've ever been to Japan then you know how interesting it is to see our movie stars appear in ads that they would never do in the states. Check out this ad for Mt. Rainier coffee (Yes, it is a direct rip-off of you-know-who. Just check out the logo.). At least they got the right mountain in the right state!
