04.29.09Free Hugs! We really can all get along.We are always hearing that American's are losing their sense of community, and that we spend too much time "catching up" over the internet. Well in Japan they get much more personal, even with strangers! Maybe we should take a cue from them and hand out free hugs....

04.21.09New Art Exhibit in Japan - Arachnophobes terrified.If you have never seen the website for the shugoarts gallery it's really worth a look. Some amazing artwork from artists in Japan. Recently featured is a popular new artist Teppei Kaneuji who just opened a solo exhibit in Yokohama, Japan. His pieces are unique because of the novel use of materials (anything from driftwood to rubber to steel to plastics) and his modern visuals.
