11.30.09Ramen and Chocolate - It just makes sense.There is a new company named Komforte Chockolates that has the audacity to mix some pretty crazy flavors with chocolate. Topping the list for Blue C is the RAMEN NOODLE chocolate bar. It just goes to show you that some people will stop at no expense to fit Japanese food into everything possible. Much respect for the Komforte wizards, or elfs, or whoever is putting these wild combinations together. Now available at all Blue C Sushi locations should you be looking for extra stocking stuffers... Yes this anime character is now married to a real life human. We hope she was swept off her feet, because we're sure she didn't have much say in the matter. Gizmodo tells us there will be a small ceremony on November 22nd, with friends, family and the rest of the world wide web, so don't miss it!

Each week, more than 1,000 families receive the groceries they need to prepare nutritionally balanced meals at home thanks to their efforts. Drop off non-perishable food items and personal toiletries at any of our restaurants in the bins provided, or visit www.udistrictfoodbank.org to donate online.

Now you can eat your ice cream straight out of a toilet while getting comfy on a toilet. No, we don't mean eating in the restroom, Taiwan now has their very own Potty Restaurant. Why would you want to eat here? Call us crazy but we think they have perhaps crossed a sacred line here.

11.12.09Fluorescent Live Art - We want thisJapanese painter and graphic artist, Que Houxo, holds live performances where he creates giant flowers and other beautiful graffiti style images using fluorescent paint in black light. We have seen his work all over the internet, and it seems he has "arrived" in the Japanese art scene. We would love to get some of these into a new Blue C.
