This new sculpture is attracting loads of visitors to it’s home in Odaiba, Japan. This statue is a part of a plan to attract the 2016 Olympic Games to Tokyo. Tokyo is trying to set itself apart from the other cities by becoming a more green and environmentally friendly site for the games. While there is nothing green about the statue, nor is there any environmental messaging near the site, the money raised from souvenir sales will go toward planting trees and adding lawns to school grounds across the country.
