For those of you who are completely dialed-in to all things Japanese you will be stoked to learn that as of today the University Village will be serving-up cream puffs from Beard Papa’s on the belt.  For those of you thinking, “Beard what?” Let us explain.

Beard Papa’s is the ever famous cream puff maker from Japan.  Their small cream puff stands can be found all over Tokyo, and over the last few years they have come over to the U.S.  Why are they so great?  For starters, they don’t come pre-filled in a plastic bag and filled with preservatives.  Each cream puff is individually injected, and we intend to do the same thing to each puff before it gets placed on the conveyor belt. Beard Papa has a big following and we are thrilled we received their blessing to bring them into Blue C.

We’re starting our trial in the University Village, and we hope to bring Beard Papa to other stores once we work out all of the logistics, of course!  Read more about the history of Beard Papa’s here.
