Who knew living in Japan with no money would lead to a career in sushi? That was the case over 15 years ago for James Allard. Being on a student's budget he ate at Kaiten Sushi restaurants as much as he could until the idea hit him in the head like a frozen tuna brick: "This would be so great in the States some day."
A few careers and years later he joined with his friend Steve Rosen and Executive Chef Shinichi Miura (and bass guitarist) to try to create a one-of-a-kind Kaiten sushi restaurant that revered the style and culture of modern day Tokyo.
We hope you enjoy it!
